Winter in St. Petersburg was where some very
special relationships began, during a trip organized by the Provincetown Art
Association and Museum. Friendships were spawned, new interests were spurred
and old interests revived. I even later discovered that my grandfather had
fought in the Tsar's army. It all came together over round table dinners and
talking late into the night. We were welcomed and hailed as open and welcoming.
Can a nicer thing be said about someone?
