Mariana's Tea Biscuits

3 cups flour

3 eggs

1 cup sugar

1 1/4 stick butter

1 tsp. vanilla or lemon extract

3 tsp. baking powder

 

Preheat the oven to 375°.

Lightly grease a cookie sheet.

Sift dry ingredients together and set aside. Cream the butter and sugar. Add the eggs and beat until fluffy. Add the flour mixture one cup at a time into an electric mixing bowl and beat until the batter can be rolled into small pieces.

Roll the dough into walnut size pieces and bake for 15 minutes.

Makes 3 to 4 dozen.
